About Arnez J
Five Sets, No Blue Material
Arnez J does not stand at the microphone. He runs, drops, spins and acts out the bits while he is describing them, which is why club regulars talk about his sets the way they talk about a physical performance rather than an hour of jokes. He plays five sets at the Comedy Zone from Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4, 2026.
The résumé behind it is deep. An Atlanta native who came up through the Georgia clubs, he hosted two seasons of BET's Comic View, taped a Comedy Central Presents, and turned up on Def Comedy Jam and Shaquille O'Neal's All Star Comedy Jam. He also built all of it without working blue, which is rarer at this level than it sounds and makes him one of the safer bets in town for a mixed group.
Five sets over three nights means you get to choose your crowd. The Friday and Saturday late shows run loud and loose, the Sunday evening is calmer and easier to hear. The Comedy Zone sits inside the AvidXchange Music Factory, so one parking decision covers dinner, the show, and a walk across the courtyard after.
