Ben Bankas sells confrontation. The Toronto bred comic built his following on anti woke satire and shock provocation, and the business model works in both directions, a heavily booked touring schedule on one side, protests and venue cancellations on the other, including a run of six sold out Minnesota shows scrapped in early 2026 after a joke about a woman killed by an ICE agent drew national backlash.
That is the honest billing. The act is fast crowd work and deliberately offensive cultural commentary, and audiences tend to know precisely which side of the argument they are buying a ticket for.
