About David Nihill
Taking Tangents At The Booth
David Nihill followed a sold out world tour with Taking Tangents, a new show built on the same gift, Irish storytelling that wanders gloriously off course and arrives somewhere better. He is also the author of Do You Talk Funny, the public speaking book that made him comedy's favorite crossover act.
The 2026 tour runs from Chicago to New Zealand, and Charlotte's stop lands at the Booth Playhouse, the intimate 434 seat room upstairs at the Blumenthal.
October 16, a Friday, Uptown. Theater seating, no drink minimums, and tangents guaranteed to outnumber the advertised topics.
