About Devault
Past The Remixes That Started It
The remixes opened the door and he has spent years walking away from them. Devault first got attention reworking Rihanna, Billie Eilish, 6LACK, Alessia Cara and Sabrina Claudio, the sort of run that can define a producer permanently if he lets it. He did not. He plays Blackbox Theater on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 10, 18 and over.
The original work is where he actually lives now. Empty Room, a six track release, brought in Njomza, EVAN GIIA, Kiiara, Bipolar Sunshine and Izzy Camina, and it is closer to songwriting with electronic bones than to a DJ record. Signing with Insomniac gave him the festival infrastructure without pushing him toward festival obviousness.
Blackbox is a 1972 movie house on Sugar Creek Road northeast of the center city, converted into a bass and dance room, and it is the correct scale for material this detailed. A 10 o'clock Saturday means it runs well past midnight, so settle the drive home before the set. This is a room where the low end is something you feel rather than hear.
