The Magician Books A Weekend
The Comedy Zone booked a magician for the weekend and it is not a mistake. Eric Eaton works comedy and sleight of hand as one act rather than alternating between them, and he has the credentials on both sides, a Merlin Award, membership in the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and television time on Masters of Illusion. He plays four sets, two on Friday, September 11 and two on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
The show is built for adult rooms rather than family matinees, which changes what the magic is for. Card work in a club at 9:45 on a Friday is less about wonder and more about the setup for a joke you did not see coming, and that is the version he tours.
Four sets across two nights means the late ones and the early ones are different animals, as they always are here. The Comedy Zone sits inside the AvidXchange Music Factory, so one parking decision covers dinner and the show, and the courtyard is a short walk when it lets out. Sit close for this one.
