Kayzo

Hardstyle and hardcore punk are not supposed to share a set, and the whole career of Hayden Capuozzo is an argument that they should. Recording as Kayzo, the Los Angeles producer has spent a decade welding dubstep low end to rock structure, most completely on New Breed in 2022, an album built around actual bands rather than samples of them. He plays Blackbox Theater on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 10.

The Unleashed XL run is the live version of that idea, carrying Eptic and N8NOFACE across the country and treating the stage more like a hardcore show than a DJ booth. Expect the tempo to sit higher than most bass bookings in this city and the crowd to behave accordingly.

Blackbox is out on Sugar Creek Road northeast of the center city, a 1972 cinema converted into a bass room, and it is 18 and over. A 10 o'clock Friday start puts the peak of this well after midnight, so decide about the drive home before the set rather than during it. The room is small enough that the low end is a physical fact rather than a sound coming from somewhere.
