About LYNY
Bass Music Takes Blackbox
Blackbox Theater sits off Sugar Creek Road in north Charlotte, a 1972 cinema turned bass music haunt that keeps things dark, loud, and late. LYNY headlines a Saturday there on September 26, 2026, with a 10 pm start, which is exactly the hour the room was built for.
LYNY is Alec Leinhauser, a producer barely into his twenties who has climbed fast in the bass world, with a 2026 that already included a set at Lollapalooza. His sound is heavy and detailed at once, the kind of low end you feel in your sternum more than hear.
This is a night for people who came to feel the sub in the floor. Earplugs are smart, the drive out is short, and the room will not stay still once he starts.
