The Weasel Rides Again
Pauly Shore was born into comedy the way royals are born into castles, raised at the Comedy Store by his mother, the legendary club owner Mitzi Shore, before MTV's Totally Pauly and the nineties film run, Encino Man, Son in Law, Bio-Dome, made the Weasel a generational fixture.
The 2026 hour blends the vintage persona with something more honest, stories about fame's strange aftermath, the Store's history, and life as comedy's most recognizable surviving artifact of the MTV age, told by someone who watched every comic of two eras from the side of the stage.
The Comedy Zone hosts July 20. Come for the nostalgia, stay for the surprisingly sharp hour underneath it, buuuudy.
