About Ryan Davis
Five Sets Before Special Two
Ryan Davis was born in North Carolina, which changes what these five nights are. He plays the Comedy Zone from Thursday, October 8 through Saturday, October 10, 2026, five sets in three nights, and he is filming his second special this year, so the material in the room is material on its way to tape.
He came up the modern way, short online riffs that turned into a national following, then made the jump to television with HBO's All Def Comedy and a turn on Insecure. His first full length special, Under-Rated, landed in 2025 and named the problem it was solving. The act itself is conversational and sharply timed, closer to a guy talking than a guy performing, and that style needs a club rather than a theater.
The Comedy Zone is the right size for a comic testing an hour, and the two late shows on Friday and Saturday are where the new bits actually get tried. The club sits in the Music Factory, so parking is one decision for the night. Come for the version that has not been edited yet.
