Sippy

The Blackbox runs back to back bass nights that weekend, and Sippy takes the second one. She plays Saturday, October 17, 2026 at ten, an eighteen and over show, the night after Juelz works the same room.

Sippy came up through the clubs and festivals of Sydney and built a reputation on dubstep that is genuinely punishing, the kind of sound design that makes a PA earn its rating. Scars in Stereo, her recent project, pulled in a different direction, more personal and more exposed, without giving up the technical edge. The live show still opens the throttle. She has spent 2026 on festival stages including Electric Forest and has an Australian homecoming run booked for Christmas.

Bring earplugs. That is not a warning about the room so much as a note about the artist, because a Sippy set at close range in a space the size of the Blackbox is a physical experience and the good ones sell out of plugs at the door. Northeast Charlotte, late doors, and a rideshare home is the sensible version of this night.
