About Zorza
Synthwave Lights Up Cue
Zorza makes music that sounds like a neon drive at midnight. The Toronto project of Kelly Piskor works in synthwave, all glowing arpeggios and eighties afterglow, and the 2024 album Hyperdream is the fullest statement of it yet.
Cue is the club room at Blackbox Theater off Sugar Creek Road in north Charlotte, a dark space built for electronic nights. Zorza plays the late slot on July 18, 2026.
A Saturday for the synth faithful, and for anyone who likes a room that disappears once the lights go down.
