About Benjamin Tod
Honky Tonk, Hard Won
Benjamin Tod writes country songs from the bone, the Lost Dog Street Band frontman whose own hard road, addiction, the rails, recovery, gave his music a rawness that built a fiercely loyal following with almost no industry help. With Lost Dog on hiatus, he has launched a new honky tonk band, the Inline Six, and a coast to coast tour to introduce it.
The voice and the scars are the same, now pointed at a fuller, barroom ready sound.
The Fillmore hosts October 20. Country this honest in a standing room draws a crowd that knows every word and means them. A Tuesday for the believers.
