About bunii
BUNIIVERSITY Reaches North Davidson
VIRGILIO made The FADER's list of the thirty best albums of 2026 so far, and the tour behind it reaches the Neighborhood Theatre on Sunday, October 18, 2026. BUNIIVERSITY is a twenty one date run that opened in Chicago on October 5 and ends with a hometown Los Angeles finale.
The path here was quick. bunii started as a producer at fifteen, moved to the front of the stage in 2023, and broke through with the 2024 single SAINT before putting out two projects in 2025 and VIRGILIO this year. A first headline tour sold out in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Houston, and a WATSNEXT EP arrived in August alongside these dates. The live show is alt rock in the loud and unguarded sense rather than the polished one.
The Neighborhood Theatre has run independently on North Davidson since 1997 and holds under a thousand people, which is the whole argument for buying now rather than later. An act moving at this speed does not play rooms this size twice. Take the Blue Line to 36th Street, eat on the NoDa strip beforehand, and a Sunday show means you are out at a civilized hour.
