Not Who He Was
Chance Peña was a teenager on The Voice years before anyone really knew his name. The real arrival came in 2023, when i am not who i was, a quiet song about outgrowing the person your loved ones remember, became a streaming giant and carried him to Columbia Records.
The albums since, Ever-Shifting, Continual Blossoming in 2024 and When I Change My Mind I Don't Mean It in 2025, built out the lane, Texas raised indie folk with atmosphere to spare and a voice that cracks in the right places.
The Fillmore hosts August 5 with Hans Williams opening. Music this hushed in a standing room creates its own silence, expect the crowd to hold its breath with him.
