The Fillmore is the room most touring acts play when they come through Charlotte. It holds about two thousand people inside a converted textile mill at the AvidXchange Music Factory, a short hop north of Uptown. Live Nation runs it in the tradition of the original Fillmore in San Francisco, so you get chandeliers, red walls, and vintage show posters, a little theater glamour wrapped around what is at heart a rock club.
