About Charley Crockett
The Ram Rides East
Nobody in country music works like Charley Crockett, the San Benito, Texas troubadour who releases albums faster than most acts release singles. Age of the Ram, the third and final chapter of his Sagebrush Trilogy, was produced by Shooter Jennings at Sunset Sound, and the 39 date tour named for it runs deep into fall.
The Charlotte stop lands in the tour's sweetest stretch, the leg where Durand Jones and The Indications join as support, vintage soul revue meets Gulf Coast country and somehow both make perfect sense together.
Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre hosts September 24, a Thursday. $10 Cowboy hats welcome, rhinestones encouraged.
