About Deorro
Five More Hours Of Bass
Deorro built festival EDM a bridge to the cumbia his family raised him on. The Mexican American producer from Los Angeles broke worldwide with Five Hours and its Chris Brown vocal version Five More Hours, then made the thesis explicit with Bailar featuring Elvis Crespo, big room drops and Latin rhythm sharing one chart topping track.
His DJ sets run that whole spectrum, festival anthems, electro, and the moments where the room realizes it is dancing to cumbia at an EDM show and loves it. Few headliners work a crowd's joy more directly.
Blackbox Theater hosts June 19, 18 and up, on the converted cinema floor that was built for exactly this kind of night. The Sugar Creek rail station sits catty corner from the door, no designated driver debate required.
