Ed Sheeran
No band, no backing tracks, just a loop pedal filling Bank of America Stadium.
Out on a 5-date run this year, and Charlotte made the list.

About Ed Sheeran
One Man, Whole Stadium
The trick never gets old. Ed Sheeran walks onto a stadium stage alone, with a guitar and a loop pedal, builds each song in layers in front of seventy thousand people, and somehow it fills the room more completely than most full bands manage. The LOOP Tour, named for that pedal, brings the spectacle to Charlotte behind his latest album, PLAY.
The catalog does the rest. Shape of You, Castle on the Hill, Perfect, Thinking Out Loud, a decade of songs the entire stadium already knows by heart.
Bank of America Stadium hosts October 17, a rare stadium show in Uptown. The man builds a wall of sound from nothing and then tears it down for an acoustic ballad, all by himself. Worth seeing once just to believe it.
