About George Lopez
Worth The Wait, Finally
Charlotte has been waiting on this one. The George Lopez date at Ovens Auditorium was rescheduled from June 2025, and the makeup show finally lands October 2, 2026, which by Lopez's own comedic logic means the material about being late writes itself.
Few careers in comedy run this deep, decades of stand up, the groundbreaking sitcom that carried his name for six seasons, and a voice that made Latino family life network television canon. The live act remains the sharpest version, family, culture, and grievance polished to a shine.
Ovens, 18 and up, a Friday night. The crowd that bought tickets sixteen months ago gets the last laugh, attendance itself becomes the punchline.
