Bojangles Coliseum is a midcentury dome that opened in 1955, once the largest free span dome in the world and still one of the odder rooms in Charlotte to catch a modern rap show. Ken Carson plays it on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with xaviersobased, prettifun, and DJ Moon along for the ride.
Carson is the breakout name on Opium, the label Playboi Carti built, and his sound is the loud, distorted rage rap that turns a floor into a churning pit. He put out a new album, Xperiment, on July 3, 2026, and the Xperimenting Tour is built to set it loose in rooms this size.
This is a young crowd and a physical show, so wear shoes you do not mind losing and expect the floor to move as one body. The round room only makes the noise bigger.
