Same Room, Twice In A Night
Here is a scheduling quirk worth knowing. LSDREAM plays a Carolina Open Air set at Blackbox Theater on the afternoon of Friday, August 28, 2026, and then plays the official afterparty at 11 that same night, in the same building. Two sets, one room, about six hours apart.
They will not be the same show. The festival slot is the LightCode set, the structured audio and visual piece he has been building out for years, closer to a moving art installation than a DJ set. The late one runs alongside OZZTIN and answers to nobody's running order, which is where an artist like this tends to get interesting.
Blackbox is a converted 1972 movie house out on Sugar Creek Road, northeast of the center city, which is not where anyone expects to find a cosmic light show at midnight. It is 18 and up. Buy the afterparty ticket separately, and give yourself extra time on the drive out.
