The Music Yard has quietly become Charlotte's melodic house embassy, and Nils Hoffmann is the strongest booking yet. The Berlin producer, a classically trained pianist shaped by Paul Kalkbrenner's city, became an Anjunadeep cornerstone with over 120 million streams, the Ben Bohmer collaboration Breathing among them, and rooms like Printworks London and the Gorge on the resume.
His album Running In A Dream carries the live show, emotional, patient electronic music that builds like weather, precisely what a backyard at sunset was invented for.
The Yard hosts July 24, 6pm start between the taco joint and the barbecue bar, 500 capacity. Berlin's golden hour sound meeting an actual golden hour, again.
