About Plini
No Vocals, No Problem
Plini is the rare instrumental guitarist whose shows sell on songs rather than shredding, though the shredding is world class. The Sydney composer's new album An Unnameable Desire carries his signature, prog precision that lands like melody first and technique second, and the fall tour crosses 27 North American cities.
Night Verses support, instrumental themselves and crushing, which makes the whole night a celebration of what bands can say without a single lyric.
The Underground hosts October 15, a Thursday. The crowd will contain every guitarist in the county, all taking quiet notes.
