About Roge
A Rio Legend Plays Small
Rogê is a local legend in Rio and a Latin Grammy nominee, so a club this size is a gift. He plays the Underground on September 17, 2026, the smaller room beneath the Fillmore in the Music Factory.
His recent Curyman albums, made with the bossa nova arranger Arthur Verocai, carry the warm samba and soul that Brazilians call MPB. Up close, in a low room, that music hits differently than it would from a balcony.
A Thursday for anyone who wants Brazilian music without the language getting in the way, because the groove does the talking. Come early, the room is small and word travels.
