Charlotte Improv At Its Best
Most acts on this calendar come in from out of town. Shameless Society does not. The seven person troupe is Charlotte's own, voted the best improv in the city by Queen City Nerve two years running, and they take the upstairs comedy room at Duckworth's on July 22, 2026.
There is no script. The cast builds a full 90 minutes out of whatever the crowd shouts, which means the Wednesday you see is the only version of it that will ever exist. The room above the Grill and Taphouse at Tryon and 7th is small and close, the setup improv needs.
They describe the show as group therapy meets your oversharing friend at brunch, and that is about right. Come with a suggestion ready, the good ones end up on stage.
