Cloud Rap At The Peak
Smokedope2016 built a world out of haze, a cloud rap artist and producer whose nostalgic, narcotic beats and tracks like White Owls turned an internet following into a real touring force. His 2025 album The Peak debuted in Spotify's US top ten, proof the underground's ceiling keeps rising.
The live shows convert the bedroom listening experience into a communal one, sub heavy, melodic, and foggier than the genre name suggests, with a young crowd that treats every track like a secret handshake.
The Comedown Tour stops at The Fillmore on June 26, a 2,000 person room for a scene that rarely surfaces in venues this size. The underground is upstairs now.
