About Stanley Simmons
Two KISS Sons, One Taproom
The surnames are the first thing anyone notices and the least useful part of the story. Stanley Simmons is Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, sons of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, and the obvious move would have been an arena package built on that fact. Instead they booked taprooms. The duo plays the Neighborhood Theatre Tap Room on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
This is their first full scale run in the United States, and it is genuinely new. Dancing While the World Is Ending came out on August 28, 2026, the tour of the same name opened in Dallas on September 14, and it finishes at the Troubadour in West Hollywood on November 3. Charlotte falls in the first stretch, before any of it has been sanded down.
The Tap Room is the small space beside the Neighborhood Theatre on North Davidson, which means a few hundred people at most and no real distance between the band and the floor. Two musicians with that lineage choosing to start this way is the whole reason to go. NoDa handles the rest, with dinner within a block and a patio open after.
