The Gringos

About The Gringos
From A Porch To Southend
The Gringos got where they are by filming themselves on a porch. Those clips did what a decade of van touring used to do, and the band is now one of the faster growing independent acts in the Southeast without a major label behind any of it. They play Amos' Southend on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
The sound is Southern indie rock, guitars and harmonies with more twang than the genre label suggests, and it was built for exactly this kind of room rather than scaled down to fit one. Thirteen dates on the books this run, so the set is road tested by now.
Amos' has been on South Tryon long enough to have hosted a few hundred bands on the way up and a few on the way back down. Doors at 7:30 and music at 8:30, all ages, and tickets run 15 dollars ahead of the day or 20 at the door. That is an easy yes for a Thursday.
