About TopOppGen
Carolina's Own Comes Home
TopOppGen is North Carolina's entry in rap's most restless generation, a homegrown artist blending hip hop, emo, and alternative into something the genre tags keep missing. The work rate tells the story, two full albums in 2025, fake pills and real scars and kalon, with new singles still landing through 2026.
The live shows run on the scene's communal energy, melodic pain screamed back by crowds who found the music on their phones and treat the shows like meetups. The PDNROME Tour brings Aziedoesntexist along as support.
The Underground hosts June 28, and a home state headline show at the Music Factory is its own milestone, the Carolina kid graduating rooms in real time.
