Sharp, Silly, And Shameless
Zach Noe Towers took the scenic route to standup, a St. Louis kid with a musical theater degree who moved to Los Angeles for acting and got talked into a comedy bringer show by a friend. The detour stuck, a New Face slot at Montreal's Just for Laughs in 2018, Time Out's comedians to watch list, and a self produced special, Twink Death, that shows off the act, flamboyant, fast, and sharper than the sparkle suggests.
The screen credits run alongside, Netflix's Dear White People, hosting on E!, and an award winning short film he wrote and directed. On stage it all blends into high energy storytelling with punchlines arriving from unfair angles.
He plays The Comedy Club at Duckworth's on June 17, 18 and up, a hundred seats up the stairs at Tryon and 7th. Small room, big personality, easy math.
