About Andrew McMahon
Three Pianos, One Night
Andrew McMahon has lived several musical lives, the piano pop punk of Something Corporate, the lush heartache of Jack's Mannequin, and the bright solo work of Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, and the Three Pianos tour, named for his memoir, finally puts all three on one stage in one night. It is a career told in songs, by the man who wrote them.
Through all of it runs his own survival story, a leukemia diagnosis at the height of Jack's Mannequin that he turned into the Dear Jack Foundation, which a dollar of every ticket supports.
Neighborhood Theatre hosts October 20. Hearing Konstantine, The Mixed Tape, and Cecilia and the Satellite in a single NoDa set is a gift to anyone who grew up on any era. Bring tissues.
