Walking On A Dream, Again
Empire of the Sun do not play concerts so much as stage interplanetary coronations, headdresses, costume changes, and visuals that make an amphitheater feel like the set of a film that does not exist yet. The Ask That God Afterlife tour runs 31 North American dates through the fall of 2026.
Walking on a Dream and We Are the People have soundtracked roughly every golden hour since 2008, and the catalog has aged into festival scripture, synth pop built for the exact moment the sun drops behind a lawn.
Truliant Amphitheater hosts September 9 with French duo Polo and Pan opening, whose playful house sets are a destination on their own. A Wednesday that will look like a costume party by the third song.
