Hail the Sun

About Hail the Sun
Restless Rock Lands At Amos'
Hail the Sun are built around a neat trick, their frontman Donovan Melero drums and sings lead at the same time, and the songs are just as restless as that sounds, all shifting time signatures and sudden turns. The Sacramento band plays Amos' Southend on Friday, September 18, 2026, with A Lot Like Birds, Blight Town, and Murals.
They are touring a new record, their seventh, called cut. turn. fade. back., out since October 2025. Amos' is the right room for it, a South End club with a low ceiling where the bass lands in your chest and a technical band gets to prove it live rather than on tape.
This is a night for people who like their rock played hard and played exactly right, and for a stacked bill worth showing up early for. The openers are not filler.
