The Hayley Williams Show, Literally
The tour is called The Hayley Williams Show, and the billing is the point. After two decades fronting Paramore, Williams is touring the Americas on her three solo albums, music moodier and stranger than the day job, carried by one of the defining rock voices of her generation.
The supporting cast is a statement in itself, Magdalena Bay's glittering art pop and Rico Nasty's snarling punk rap, a bill that refuses to sit in one genre for even an hour. A dollar from every ticket goes to the eco initiative REVERB and Support and Feed.
Truliant Amphitheater hosts September 8, a Tuesday. Paramore songs are not promised, but the scream along instinct will find material either way.
