Funk Under The Wraps
Nobody knows exactly who is under the bandages, which is part of the joke and part of the draw. Here Come The Mummies, eight players wrapped head to toe, bring their funk to the Neighborhood Theatre on September 10, 2026.
The Nashville band trades on a tight horn section and a live show that rarely lets up, out this year behind the Road Trip EP. Over the years they have backed P-Funk, Al Green, and KC and the Sunshine Band, so there are real players inside the wraps.
The Neighborhood Theatre in NoDa is a standing room made for a night that leans on groove and horns. A Thursday like this is for dancing more than watching.
