Thirty Years Of Spit
Kittie were teenagers from London, Ontario when their debut Spit went gold in 2000 and forced metal's boys club to make room. Thirty years after forming, the Lander sisters are marking the anniversary with the Legacy of Fire Tour, their first proper North American headline run in a decade, behind 2024's Fire, their first album in thirteen years.
The longevity is the story. Kittie survived nu metal's collapse, label wars, and tragedy, and came back heavier, with the 2025 EP Spit XXV re recording the debut's classics with grown up venom.
The Fillmore gets the June 20 stop with Kingdom of Fire and Gore opening. Expect the old songs delivered with three decades of receipts, and a crowd spanning every era of the band's unlikely, stubborn survival.
