About L7 (Band)
Pretend We're Loud
L7 came out of Los Angeles before grunge had a name and helped write the rulebook a generation of women in rock would follow, snarling, fuzzed out, and utterly unbothered by anyone's opinion. Pretend We're Dead made them legends, and their reputation for chaos, both on record and famously off it, only grew the myth.
Decades and a reunion later, the band still plays with the same sneer, the riffs as heavy and the attitude as sharp as ever.
Neighborhood Theatre hosts October 19, a NoDa room built for exactly this kind of loud. A Monday that will leave your ears ringing in the best possible way.
