About Ryan Beatty
Sweet Fortune, Sweeter Live
Ryan Beatty has quietly become one of the most admired songwriters of his generation, the California artist trading early pop for something more delicate and searching, his 2023 album Calico drawing raves for its hushed, intimate beauty. The new record, Sweet Fortune, continues that arc on Atlantic.
The Arms Over Armor tour brings those gorgeous, understated songs to rooms where the quiet really lands, the kind of show where a held breath says as much as a chorus.
The Underground hosts September 30. Music this intimate in a 750 capacity room rewards the listener who leans in, the crowd as hushed as the songs. A Wednesday for the tender.
