Every Tame Impala record is one person. Kevin Parker writes, plays, and produces all of it alone in Australia, then assembles a live band to translate the headphone universe into something twenty thousand people can move to. The trick has worked from psych rock beginnings through the disco drift of Currents, and it works bigger than ever now.
Deadbeat, released in the fall of 2025, pushed furthest yet toward the dance floor and took home a Grammy for End of Summer along the way. The Deadbeat Tour is the victory lap, arenas across the continent through 2026.
Spectrum Center gets the Saturday night slot on August 1, and the opener is a draw on his own. Djo is Joe Keery, the Stranger Things actor whose End of Beginning became one of the biggest songs in the world. Arrive early, the undercard headlines elsewhere.
