About The 502s
The Happiest Band On Earth
Banjo, brass and everybody singing at once. The 502s come out of Orlando and have been calling themselves the happiest band on Earth long enough that other people started doing it too. They play the Neighborhood Theatre on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
Easy Street, their album on Big Loud, came out in 2025 and the tour behind it has run through North America and Europe this year. The thing that got them here was Just a Little While, a song that spread far past anything their live following could explain, and the live show is built on the same trick. Big group vocals, horns, and choruses written so a room full of strangers can join in on the second pass.
The Neighborhood Theatre has run independently on North Davidson since 1997 and it is the right room for a shout along, big enough to sound like a crowd and small enough that the band can hear you doing it. Ride the Blue Line to 36th Street, eat on the strip first, and expect to leave slightly hoarse.
