Superheroes Of Ska, Assemble
The Aquabats have been fighting evil with ska for three decades, masked, caped, and led by the MC Bat Commander, whose other secret identity is Christian Jacobs, co creator of Yo Gabba Gabba. The Gigantish Tour celebrates thirty years of a bit that long ago became a beloved institution.
The shows are part punk gig, part Saturday morning cartoon, inflatable monsters, staged battles, crowd participation as canon. Multiple generations attend in costume, and the band considers that correct.
