About The Last Dinner Party
The Pyre's Last Embers
The Last Dinner Party went from London art school mystery to Britain's most celebrated new rock band in about two years, all velvet, drama, and hooks. Their second album From the Pyre, released in late 2025, deepened the gothic theatrics with darker, earthier songs, character driven story pieces like This Is the Killer Speaking that play like short films.
Live is where the band makes believers, five performers treating every night like closing night of an opera, costumes and crowd communion included. The From the Pyre Tour ran 31 cities across North America, and Charlotte on June 12 is the second to last date of the entire run, with the tour wrapping in Atlanta the next night, so the show arrives polished and emotional in equal measure.
The Fillmore hosts, with LA post punks Automatic opening, and proceeds from the run support the Ally Coalition. Dress up a little, this crowd does, and that is half the fun of it.
