About The Mars Volta
Prog Chaos At Close Range
The Mars Volta's 2026 tour comes with a promise that matters, after spending last year performing only their newest album, Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacio, the September run plays material from across the whole catalog, De-Loused in the Comatorium onward.
That catalog in a room the size of Neighborhood Theatre is the draw. Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala built the most volcanic live act in progressive rock, and the tour routes through clubs and theaters small enough to feel the air move.
NoDa gets it September 15, a Tuesday, days into the tour. Word is new music is already in the works, so consider the set a moving target and arrive curious.
