Thundercat

Thundercat brings the Distracted AF tour to the Fillmore on Thursday, October 15, 2026, about two weeks into a run that opened in Miami on October 2 and finishes in Austin on December 11. The album it is named for landed on April 3 on Brainfeeder, his first full length since 2020, fifteen tracks deep with Tame Impala, Lil Yachty, A$AP Rocky, Channel Tres, Willow Smith and a posthumous Mac Miller appearance on it.

Stephen Bruner plays a six string bass the way most people play a lead instrument, which is why the live show never settles into one lane. He came up through Suicidal Tendencies, then through Kendrick Lamar and Flying Lotus records, and the solo material sits somewhere between jazz fusion, soft rock and comedy without ever fully committing to any of them. It rewards a room that is listening.

The opener is the local story. TiaCorine is from Winston-Salem, about ninety minutes up the interstate, a Winston-Salem State graduate who built the anime trap sound and made XXL's Freshman Class in 2023 off Lotto and FreakyT. She is on multiple dates of this tour, but this is the one closest to home, and a Fillmore crowd of 2,000 is a very different thing from a hometown club. Get in early for it.
