About Wale
A Lot, In A Good Way
Wale has outwritten his own narrative for fifteen years, the DC rapper whose pen, equal parts go go bounce and poetry seminar, made Ambition and The Gifted era hits while critics argued about everything except the talent. His eighth album Everything Is A Lot, released in late 2025, earned some of the best notices of his career for its emotional candor, a veteran getting more honest instead of more guarded.
The Everything Is A Lot tour pairs him with St. Louis's Smino, whose elastic, melodic flow makes him one of rap's most musical performers, a complementary double act of two stylists who actually sing and swing.
